PROJECTS
As part of this project, we offer counseling for victims of racist discrimination. In addition, we work to make racist discrimination visible as a problem in politics and public perception – and to counteract it sustainably.
changelog – Local Equal Treatment
In March 2020, the model project changelog was launched, which addresses anti-discrimination on three levels:
- Support for victims and their environment,
- Sensitizing the majority society to discrimination and racism,
- Dealing with discrimination or diversity monitoring.
changelog initiates changes locally, primarily in the two largest cities in Brandenburg: Potsdam and Cottbus. For this purpose, we have found cooperation partners in both places – and work with various organizations, initiatives, and individuals.
City.Country.Horizon
Initially, our offer was only aimed at victims of racist discrimination. With the City.Country.Horizon project, we have been developing a complementary counseling offer since 2023 for individuals experiencing discrimination based on other characteristics: due to their gender, disability or chronic illness, sexual identity, religion, or age.
Subject to further funding from the federal and state governments, a broadly based and comprehensive anti-discrimination counseling service is to be established in Brandenburg.
